3rd PHOTOMALAYSIA PHOTO EXHIBITION - "PEOPLE AND PLACES"

Do u guys know that PhotoMalaysia will be holding its 3rd Photo Exhibition at Nikon Centre, Berjaya Times Square. This Exhibition is curated by Mr. Alex Moh and En Azrul Abdullah. This Photo Exhibition represents the work done by PhotoMalaysia members.

Dates : 1st November to 12th December 2010

Time: from 10am to 10pm daily
Place: Nikon Centre, 1st floor, Berjaya Times Square.

Malaysia's largest photographic forum is staging it's third exhibition dealing with people and places. With such a large reach throught the fabric of MAlaysian Societym the documentation of faces and locations stretches through geographical and cultural borders to bring forth an all-encompassing visual smorgasboard.

A variety of photographic narratives is used to weave this exhibition together. in essence, that 'freedom to capture' has been left in the hands of each photographer to provide a very personal account or vision of his/her subject. Ultimately, the consummate relationship between the visuals and viwere is what will determine the motives of the photographer; or perhaps it may even offer a more experimental approach to a narrative previously unseen. Often predictable images and experimental images create a vague dichotomy in any exhibition, leaving the viewer to contemplate meaning or motive.

This exhibition seeks to bring closer the lines between spaces and people; as they are inevitably linked.

The date of the official opening ceremony will be announced later. All amateur and professional photographers and also photoenthusiasts, do make it a point to visit this event.
